Ms. Shahana Shumy has extensive working experience in the fields of financial management, internal control, and compliance. She also has widespread experience in licensing and obtaining permission from RJSC and other government authorities, trade licenses, VAT, TAX, IRC, ERC, trademarks, organizational internal control and compliance, company affairs, internal auditing, etc. She has proven track record in audits, special investigations, consultancy, and other issues in many multinational companies, trading and manufacturing concerns, and liaison and branch offices. Ms. Shahana Shumy has audited many projects and programs of different donors, development partners, foreign-aided projects, and I/NGOs. Various assignments and activities are comprised of developing auditing monitoring and evaluation guidelines, M&E tools, analytical report writing, report presentation, and final report preparation.
Ms. Shahana Shumy has successfully completed a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and Banking from Dhaka University and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the same university. She has also successfully completed Charter Accountancy (CA) at Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co. She has engaged with different professional bodies.

He has an enormous number of publications, both national and international, in journals, magazines, papers, etc. He has also attended a number of training courses and participated in different national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, symposiums, etc. He has completed a Master’s in Development Studies (MDS) and also obtained a Master’s in Commerce (Management) and a Diploma in Management Consultancy (PgDMC) from IMC Bangladesh.
He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC), the World Toilet Organization (WTO), and the World Water Council (WWC).
